Erasmus+ KA122-ADU | 2025–2026
A project by Terra Dulcis promoting inclusive climate education and green skills development.
Pianeta in Bilico – A World on the Edge is an Erasmus+ project designed to strengthen the link between climate action, environmental education, and social inclusion. Through mobility experiences and hands-on training, the project empowers migrants and adults with fewer opportunities to actively participate in sustainability initiatives while building Terra Dulcis’ internal capacity to deliver high-quality, inclusive climate education programmes.
Through a combination of Group Mobility for Adult Learners and Job-Shadowing for staff in Romania, the project offers participants a structured programme of hands-on learning, observation, and peer exchange. Activities are implemented in partnership with GreenHope Association, an organisation recognised for its strong experience in sustainability education, circular economy initiatives, and migrant integration.
Climate change poses significant social, economic, and environmental challenges, particularly for vulnerable communities. Bridging the gap between environmental action and social inclusion is essential to ensure a fair green transition.
This project responds directly to that need by providing equitable access to climate education, supporting active participation in sustainability initiatives, and promoting intercultural dialogue through shared environmental action.
Participants engage in a structured 7-day programme in Romania, focusing on:
practical environmental actions such as urban gardening and reforestation;
workshops on circular economy, climate resilience, and responsible consumption;
eco-mobility and cycling advocacy initiatives;
intercultural exchange with local communities and migrant groups.
This experience enables participants to acquire practical competencies, strengthen their environmental awareness, and become active contributors to local sustainability efforts.
Educators and project staff take part in job-shadowing hosted by GreenHope Association, where they observe effective models of sustainability education and migrant inclusion.
Key focus areas include:
designing inclusive environmental programmes,
engaging diverse communities in climate action,
applying the EU GreenComp sustainability competence framework.
This component supports professional development and reinforces Terra Dulcis’ organisational capacity.
Strengthen institutional capacity to design and implement inclusive, competency-based sustainability education.
Empower migrants and adults with fewer opportunities by providing accessible green-skills training and real-world learning experiences.
Enhance community engagement through awareness campaigns, local activities, and dissemination events.
Promote European cooperation to exchange best practices and improve the quality and sustainability of educational interventions.
Terra Dulcis is committed to fostering a fair, inclusive, and sustainable future.
Pianeta in Bilico – A World on the Edge reflects our belief that climate action must be collaborative, community-driven, and accessible to all individuals—regardless of background or opportunity.
Through education, participation, and partnership, we strive to empower communities to become proactive agents of positive environmental change.
